Jay N. Razzouk
Jay N. Razzouk dedicates his practice to the litigation of complex securities actions. He represents the interests of investors in shareholder derivative actions and securities class actions relating to mergers or acquisitions. As a result, Mr. Razzouk has experience litigating claims involving, among other things, stock option backdating, the subprime mortgage crisis, board elections, corporate takeovers, and entrenchment of the board.
Mr. Razzouk obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. He graduated cum laude and as a fellow of the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship & the Law. While in law school, Mr. Razzouk was business editor for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law, President of Pepperdine’s chapter of the Federalist Society, and a Lieutenant Governor for the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association. Mr. Razzouk received his Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting from La Sierra University, where he graduated summa cum laude with honors and was distinguished by the University President as the 2005 Outstanding University Undergraduate.
