Robbins Umeda LLP* Client Named Lead Plaintiff in Securities Class Action

March 11, 2011 (San Diego, CA) – In an order that became final today, the Honorable Candy W. Dale of the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho named Robbins Umeda LLP’s client as the lead plaintiff in a securities fraud class action suit brought against PCS Edventures!.com, Inc., its chief executive officer, and prior chief financial officer. After considering briefing and oral argument from the various movant plaintiffs, the court appointed Robbins Umeda LLP’s client and found he would best serve the purposes of the lead plaintiff provisions under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act. Judge Dale also recognized Robbins Umeda LLP’s shareholder rights attorneys as “highly qualified litigators with extensive experience in prosecuting complex securities actions.”

The case arises from allegations that PCS Edventures!.com, Inc., a Boise, Idaho-based company that develops and markets educational learning labs and curricula, as well as related software and technology, issued false and misleading statements in connection with a licensing agreement in the Middle East, causing the stock price to be artificially inflated which resulted in financial losses by the purchasers of the company’s securities. The lead plaintiff is seeking to recover damages incurred as a result of this alleged misconduct.

The case is Niederklein v. PCS Edventures!.com, Inc., et al., Case No. 1:10-cv-00479, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho.
